Story Series fixes that. You can now group your short stories into a single, ordered series that readers subscribe to. Every time you add a new part, everyone following gets an alert and a push notification. One-off stories become a following.
For writers
Start a series. Go to Stories, then Your stories, and tap New series. Give it a title, a genre, and an update cadence like "Fridays" or "Weekly."
Add your stories in order. Pull in any short story you've written as the next part, reorder them, and publish the series when it's ready.
Every new part reaches your readers. Publish another story into the series and your subscribers are notified automatically, no reminder posts needed.
For readers
Subscribe once, never miss a part. Open any series and tap Subscribe. The moment the author adds the next story, it's in your alerts.
See the whole arc. A series page shows the cover, the author, how many people are following, and every part in order, so you can start from the beginning or pick up where you left off.
Live on web and in the app
Story Series is rolling out now across writeout.co and the Writeout app. On mobile you'll get a push the instant a series you follow adds its next part. Tap it and you land right on the new story.
