Why we are doing this

Writeout is built and run by a tiny team. Servers, databases, dictionaries, moderation, and the time it takes to keep shipping new features all cost money. Until now those costs have been carried quietly in the background. Premium is our way of putting that on a sustainable footing funded by the players who love Writeout, instead of by selling your attention or your data.

We thought hard about how to do this without making the free experience worse. No paywalls in front of the games. No nagging. No locking the fun parts away. Premium is made of extras and thank-yous, not hostages.

You can cancel anytime in a couple of taps and you keep your benefits until the end of the period you have already paid for. The gems you have earned are always yours to keep, even if you leave.
